It's ok... I have a black cat

I am not going to put a disclaimer here because if you can't figure out the point I am trying to make you are an idiot and please don't read my blog. Put on your big girl panties.

Lets get this hate on Jake party started!

This may shock some of you crackers out there, but I truly honestly believe that racism is still alive due to over sensitivity of the matter.

Example. Why are white people so terrified to say "Nigga" in a non-derogatory way? I'm not. That word has no racist meaning behind it. If I can hear it used 300 times in just one hip hop song as a supposed term of endearment, sorry I'm not going to cower behind a chair if it gets brought up.

However, there is a big difference between the two. Lets set up a scenario.

As said by white fellow:

"Look there goes my nigga James."
That in itself is not racist by any stretch of the imagination.

"Look there goes my nigger James."
This would be a plantation owner making a statement about "his property."

I think slavery was the most horrid ideology that has every existed, and I am truly sorry that it happened. For a man to think they have a right to own another, is beyond incomprehensible to me. With that being said:

*I never owned a slave
*My friends never owned a slave
*My parents never owned a slave

We, as in white people, as a generation only owe Blacks, Mexicans, Chinese, Indians, Purple People etc... one thing.

We owe them equality. No reparations, no apology, no pity. Just equality.

At this point what is done is done. The media tries and keep it alive on both sides of the coin trying to make every statement, gesture, etc racist. If people would stop getting so offended by the little things, or on the same token worrying about being so politically correct this issue would die.

One more the thing. In my opinion, we are all just Americans. We are a melting pot, and always have been. You aren't black, white, brown, yellow, green, blue or purple. You are just an American. With this being said, if you would like to classify someone by their culture or color in a non hateful way, go right ahead. But white people, JESUS. My homeboys are BLACK, not AFRICAN AMERICAN. As soon as one of them starts singing the Lion King theme song, I will change my opinion, but until then, don't be stupid. Leroy is not from Africa, he is from Detroit.

With this post all I hope to accomplish is people just opening up and realizing by being scared or angry about the little things, all you are doing is keeping this issue alive.

If you want to hate someone because of their color, that is perfectly fine.

Just remember that as you read this there is a Black man, a White man, a Chinese man, a Mexican man, an Indian man all sitting in a tent in the dessert together more than happy to fight for your right to do so.

That shit cray,

Jake
